Geo Fred Barts, London English verge fusee with key wind key set swing out gilt movement with pierced and foliate and floral scrolled balance cock and round plate pillars in gilt open face pair case with arcaded Roman numeral porcelain dial, s#221 43mm c1780
CONDITION:
GRO (winds, sets and ticks), weak balance motion, the movement is in excellent condition with a few fine scratches. The case still retains most of its original gilding and the dial has several hairlines. This is a nice example of a well made early verge fusee with a desirable bull's eye crystal.
